The MassAEYC Conference is a valuable professional development put on annually by the MassAEYC Affiliate of NAEYC. This year I had the honor of presenting my session, Introduction to Cultural Competence in both English and Spanish.
It's always amazing to work with organizations that make space at their conferences for sessions in languages other than English. For the past year I've been serving on the MassAEYC board and one of the organization's priorities in becoming a HPIO, high performing inclusive organization. Inviting speakers of other languages to participate in their native languages is a great step towards meeting that goal.
